Bluebonnet Trail and Downtown Festival
This was our first time to visit the Ennis Bluebonnet Festival and we had a wonderful time. The Downtown square was all set up for a weekend of music, food and arts and crafts. We entered on the north side and took the western loop to downtown. The Bluebonnets combined with all the paintbrushes and wildflowers were just beautiful. We arrived downtown and enjoyed hours of music, food and vendors. We got to meet some really good people and puppy dogs. I think what helped make this Festival so special was all the small-town people and their puppy dogs, I’m kind of a dog lover for sure. We finished up our visit with a drive around the northern loop and absolutely fell in love with the countryside its ranches and wildflowers, it was just beautiful.
The Downtown was beautifully set up for the party and local businesses were opening their doors and enjoying the crowds. We had a snack and drinks from a coffee shop and it was very nice. We met some very nice vendors and they have actually become friends of our channel.
Meet Ronnie and Melinda Smith, they have been making handcrafted wall plaques and ceramic artwork for the past eighteen years. They have a huge selection from Texas flags and southwest art to crosses. You will find all your Texas gifts and Texas handmade art on their site.
