During our stay at Chatfield State Park we visited with our son that lives in Evergreen. We played a little golf at the small mountain golf course. What beautiful views this course has but beware of the many Elk that you will encounter. The Elk were a beautiful sight but became very distractive if you are there to play golf. The elk would take their antlers and rough up the greens. They were very calm and they seem to enjoy your company. The views and entertainment from the Elk were the highlight of our golf outing and very memorable.
