What a wonderful State Park. We stayed in a pull through in the outer loop and had plenty of room between neighbors and had wonderful roads and trails to walk the dogs. They have a large washeteria, showers and restrooms and now they have a new office with a large parking lot and souvenir shop. You will love this park, they have a remote airplane field, horse back riding, kayaking in Lake Chatfield and a leash off Dog park around toward the dam area. Herds of deer often visit in the evenings or mornings. We love to feed the birds and they really appreciate it also. Pepper, our kitty, loves to set at the windows and view the birds for entertainment. The many winding roads are heaven for your bicyclist riders as there seems to be miles of winding roads.
