We visit the famous Southfork Ranch in Parker Texas just north of Dallas Texas. The Southfork Ranch is well known for its home of the Ewing Family from one of the most popular TV series Dallas. Our most favorite Ewing was the most loveable or the most hated man in Dallas, JR Ewing.
The Southfork Ranch has developed through the years as a popular Tourist attraction with horseback riding and horseback riding lessons and more. I will have to confess that the paid tour of the house was disappointing. I would recommend just walking the facility and visit all the stables and exhibit buildings and the souvenir store. There is a 63,000 square feet event building that host hundreds of events like weddings, reunions, concerts, corporate meetings and parties and many more.
We enjoyed our horseback riding tour. Their horses are top quality and are very well cared for and they will pair you up according to experience and size with the perfect horse.
