During our Florida tour we visit the Kennedy Space Center as we stay at the Great Outdoors in Titusville Florida. The Great Outdoors RV Resort is just 20 minutes from the Kennedy Space Center and is a great location to stay during your visit.
As you get near the Space Complex you can see large space ships at a distance and the excitement starts to grow with anticipation at every turn. We pre purchased our tickets online and we highly recommend doing this to save you time from standing in line. Prepare yourself for fantastic opportunities to take some beautiful pictures. We recommend attending the many video attractions and stories of the past and history of our great space programs. I really enjoyed listening to past speeches from our President at the time,” John F Kennedy” as I was just a child at the time of this great space program. I really enjoyed the history lesson I received this day as the pride of country grew with each speech from our president.
As you finish your tour of the Kennedy Space Center Visitors Complex I highly recommend you consider taking a bus tour (transportation) to the Apollo/ Saturn visitor Center. I will have to say this was my favorite portion of our visit. Please check their schedule and bus availability.
